Help with applying

I currently am pretty lost in the whole application process and what I should do. The main things holding me up are that I still don't have my letters of rec in yet and haven't taken my DAT. I take my DAT in late July and my letters should be done early to mid august. The other thing is that my science GPA is low (3.1) and overall GPA is decent at best (3.4). I am going into my senior year and I have started to consider different options. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions with applying. I know applying late is going to hurt me at this point and I'm not even sure if my DAT will be good. Should I wait to see what my DAT score is before I apply? Should I wait til next app cycle and try and raise my GPA? Ive already considered doing a masters year to raise my GPA as well. Open to hearing anything you guys say (keep it positive). Thanks.

how are your shadowing and volunteer hours? also keep in mind there will be a few weeks to process your application, making it available early september. if i were you i would wait and apply next year. this will give you enough time to retake your DAT if you don't like your score and speak with your advisor and assess the strength of your letters. make ALL A's your senior year. i would however go online and check out the format of the application and prep how you would enter all your "professional experiences". i think by waiting you'll be much more prepared to apply early june next year with a complete application.

Insufficient shadowing hours that you are planning to squeeze the bulk of into this summer, low GPA, no DAT score, application won't be complete until August...

Build your application up and wait until next cycle.
