Help with labeling a course from transcript

On the college placement exam, I tested into remedial English. However, on the first day, everyone wrote and essay and she called me saying I tested out and would just receive an A. So do I put the course type as exempt? I only went to the class for one day, so it seems weird for it to look like I attended it for the semester.
