I recently saw my pre-med advisor and they advised me that my leadership was lacking. As of right now for leadership I have 6 consecutive semesters of being the SGA representative for our Pre-Med club (AMSA). Is this sufficient? If not I was considering volunteering as a football/baseball coach or something along those lines. Also, I don’t know if this is pertinent or not but I am a big brother to 8 younger siblings and as you can imagine I have helped my parents raise them. Can this be mentioned in my application as leadership or no?

I believe leadership is about directing other adults, not kids. Not sure that being a club representative really stands out.

1) It depends on how you'd describe your role. What say you?

2) Coaching is a form of Teaching, not leadership.

3) No.

You want to look for a form of peer leadership.

Ok that answers my questions. I appreciate the replies and help everyone!
