What do you hope to get out of this?

Are you looking for which program will give you the best prep for a career in academics, make you a solid clinician who can confidently go into private practice without a fellowship, or give you strong exposure to subfield X, or what?

Or are you asking about program characteristics, i.e., malignancy / resident happiness / general vibe?

I would like to know more about program characteristics in regards to those 3 programs
I am still undecided about private practice vs academics. Leaning toward academics now.
Would like to be a solid clinician regardless of academics vs PP. And if I pursue academics, it would just be for the rubber-stamp.
For subspecialization?interested in skull base vs hybrid vascular.
Concern with the Chicago programs, it is so ultracompetitive with 5 programs within chicagoland
