URM, I know my stats are really low but I have legit reasons which I wrote about in my essays.
cGPA : 3.33
sGPA : 3.00 (upward trend above 3.8 last two semesters)

MCAT 482 , retook 508
TX Resident (already applying to texas schools)
100 Hrs of Shadowing Experience (various types of Doctors )
200+ hrs Healthcare Volunteering
350+ hrs of Community Service
150 hours of research

Family medicine in underserved areas

I qualify for FAP so I would like to use my 15 apps wisely but I am lost here is my list so far.

University of Oklahoma College of Medicine
The Univ of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine
University of Washington
Tufts University School of Medicine
University of California - San Francisco
Meharry Medical College School of Medicine
Morehouse School of Medicine
Howard University College of Medicine
University of Arizona College of Medicine
Saint Louis University
California Northstate University School of Medicine
Keck School of Medicine of university of Southern California
University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen School of medicine
University of California, Riverside, School of medicine
So far these are my DOs.
Oklahoma State University (OSU-COM)
Des Moines University (DMU-COM)
Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM)
Midwestern University Arizona (AZCOM)
Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM)

If you are African American, keep the HBCU's.
If you want to apply this cycle, your TX MD schools are worth a try.
Other than the DO schools, the OOS schools are likely to be very low yield.

Did you realize that Northstate does not allow their students to qualify for federal loans or repayment programs?

That is very true. Thank you
And for the record, if you are set on family med in an underserved area, the level of university you attend for med school will not matter. DO vs MD, Stanford vs. Anywhere else, it will not matter. Go someplace close to home, eat some meals with your family, learn a little medicine, get your DO, go to community family program close to home, continue to enjoy your life and your family, and get that job you wanted.
 
I would scratch Univ of WA they are very competitive

I would apply to my in state schools and the the *least* competitive med schools

She's from TX. Only 215 TX applicants matriculated OOS last year...and we know it. Unless you are scholarship material, there is little point in applying OOS MD from TX.
