Hey Guys,

I graduated last semester but I will take additional upper level biology courses to raise my GPA.

For the following semester, I plan on taking human anatomy, endocrinology, and behavioral neuroscience. I want to take a few more classes, but my options are limited. My advisor has suggested I take some fluff upper level biology courses like toxicology to pad my GPA, but I am wondering if its worth my time my and money?

Any suggestions would be great!

You are applying next year?
If you do decide to take upper division classes...just choose them carefully (get A's and A+'s if possible).
good luck

If you haven't already I would take biochemistry and/or microbiology. Those are two classes that are prereqs at some schools plus I have spoken to a few admissions people who have said they look for those classes specifically. Along with anatomy and physiology and all the other good stuff.

I am applying this semester, but I just want to improve my chances for the next cycle if I dont get in.

My GPA sucks because I did poorly early on, but I have gotten As in Biochem, Cell Physiology, genetics, etc....

My advisor told me to take some fluff classes as 5 As would get me to a 3.25, yea I know it still sucks but better than what I have now.

I am just curious though if adcom will look down on me for taking some fluff classes.
