Hey everyone I needed some advice on the retaking of classes topic. I have a low GPA but most of that is a result of "other" science courses due to my major that has nothing to do with pre med pre reqs such as plant bio and animal behavior etc. etc. If I were to retake those courses I would have to do so at the institution from which I graduated from which means having to move back there and having to pay alot of money which I seriously do not have. Unless I can find a way to retake those specific classes close to home at like a smaller university or community college, but the problem with this is finding classes that can correlate with these equally. Would med schools see the classes I retook as a plus if I did good in them even if they are from community college and stuff?

Any other suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Regardless, you need to do GPA repair. If you can't find a class with similar class description and equal or greater credit hours, just keep taking other science courses. If you do find those classes, retaking and getting an A will look better than whatever you had before even if it is at a CC.
