Hi, My name is Kim. I am 24. I want to go to medical school very much, but I have not attended any college yet. I work in home health. I live and breathe everything in the medical field. My question: how do I get started? What basic college courses do I need to apply to med school? someone please help me . Feel free to E-mail me. Thanks, Kim

First, the pre-req for medical school are: one full of english, one full year of physics, one full year of general chem and organic chem, one full year of biology and at least one semester of advance biology. Also, math is required and depends on the medical school for exactly how much is needed. Usually a four year is obtained while completing these pre-reqs

Second, experience is a must: you certainly have that.

Third, the MCAT needs to be taken. It can be taken in April or Aug.
