I had to reschedule the same day as my exam due to a family emergency. Yes, it shows as a no show, but only on their records, not on anything else! It costs around $95 to reschedule, but you can't reschedule until you "no show" on your exam day. And make sure you ask for a supervisor when you call because one employee at Prometric tried to tell me that it would be $200 to reschedule. Technically, I think you are supposed to wait 48 hours or something like that after the no show, but they went ahead and rebooked me over the phone on the same day as my no show. I called around 10am, 2 hours after my scheduled exam day and I had no problem at all.

get a good nights sleep, relax and I'm sure you're actually more ready to take the exam than you think. I don't know you but I'm sure you've been preparing to take this exam more or less for the last two years as we all had, so relax, take a deep breath and good luck. cheers.

Everyone feels this way. Believe it or not (and this is the God's honest truth), I'm taking Step 2-CK in the morning. I'm nervous as hell right now, but trying to relax so I can get a good nights sleep. I didn't feel fully prepared for Step 1 when I took it, and thought I bombed it when I walked out of there. But, I passed it and did much better than average to boot. I don't feel fully prepared now either, but I'm going to take it anyway. You've got to take it sometime.

You just have an extreme case of pre-test jitters. No matter how long you put it off, you're never going to feel 100% prepared that you've got all the information in your noggin' that you'll think you need. If you postpone, you may be less prepared when you take it in the future. Think about that.

Just my suggestions. And, as my grandfather used to say... when you've got butterflies, never trust your gut.

yeah I pulled a 'no show' ...I didn't think they recorded it though. got rescheduled for 90$. When I contacted them (not prometric but the test guys) .., they claimed it wouldn't be permanently written anywhere, they made it seem like no big deal. if you're concerned about 'irregular behavior' then not showing up is not irregular, just human. If it is recorded, that is news to me.
