hi...

im an FMG...
yet to take Step 1

im wondering if the Internal Medicine rotation helps in preparing for step 1...

ur experience/advice appreciated!

Not really...Step 1 is all basic science, much less clinical knowledge required (as is in Step 2). It can't hurt, though.

Remember, for US students, taking Step 1 occurs BEFORE the Internal Medicine rotation, so it's not a requirement.
