  1. Pre-Podiatry
I am a senior right now....I will take the MCAT this january (2011)... DO you guys think it might be a little late to apply for the Podiatry school by then..i think it takes a month for MCAT scores....but this will be my first time...so i am not sure...Please tell me .........thanks

your first time is always the scariest...and in terms of an anatomy exam, probably the most painful as well.

It won't be too late, most programs will accept students through March. Some all the way through June, but at the programs with higher matriculant stats, you only get in May/June if you were waitlisted and/or a spot opened up.

If your GPA is above a 3.2 and you think (based on practice tests, or how smart your mom tells her PTA friends you are) that you can score above a 22 on the MCAT...man it always hurts to write MCAT numbers like that...then I would plan on applying in January, and submitting the app once your MCAT comes in. That way you don't blow any money (aacpmas fees) if you blew on the MCAT.
