Hey everyone,

I am alittle confused and need some help. I have applied and interviewed at schools. I recieved a letter today from one of the schools. I not sure if it is an acceptance or a general "thank you for considering" letter.

The letter states:

"Thank you for Applying and vist of our campus...This is why you should choose us......decision is ultimately yours..........I HOPE YOU WILL GIVE US YOUR HIGHEST CONSIDERATION......IT WILL BE A PLEASURE TO HAVE YOU SIT IN CLASS FOR THE 2013-14 ACADEMIC YEAR."

Can anyone elaborate? Im not an idiot, but I also dont want to sluff this off if it is an acceptance.

Sounds like an acceptance to me!

What school? And congrats!

I think you'd know if it was an acceptance. They usually start with congratulations, come with additional materials, and let you know of upcoming obligations that will be required from you to turn your acceptance into a matriculation.

I thought the same thing last year, as it is confusing. It's not an acceptance letter, just a form letter from the school. Your acceptance letter will say "Congratulations"...

Call them up tomorrow and find out. Maybe they sent you a formal acceptance and you didn't receive it for some reason.

Usually you get the big envelope. Western sent a normal sized, but quite stuffed envelope. Which school was it, I interviewed at all but Barry so might have recieved the same. My guess though it is just a courtesy letter. I assume you already interviewed at this school. The other guess too is if their adcom does not meet for a few weeks there could be a computer set to automail things out to people that still have outstanding files in the system.

thank you all! i called the school, just a letter. oh well! waiting game continues!!
