Does anyone know of a good, fairly comprehensive quick chart/cheat sheat for pediatric antibiotics?? You know something that has the most commonly used meds in primary care to take a quick glance at for doses, etc when you are in clinic?? I use my pda, but sometimes I think a good chart would be quicker. Thanks for any suggestions!!

I found this pocket book helpful. Kinda like a pediatric sanford's guide.

I carried that book in residency and found it nice to have. The pediatric section of Sanford comes from it. For dosages, I often used the Harriett Lane or, in the NICU, Neofax. Frankly, 2 months into residency you probably won't need it anymore because we don't use that many different ABX. The outpatient pediatrician's two favorite ABXs are high dose amox and low dose amox. Hey, that's one more antibiotic than the orthopods use.
