Hello,
Just to let you all know, PCOM "heavly weighs" post-bacc work, and they almost "consider it a second chance." But, I was also told, it is do-or-die. Meaning, if you messed up undergrade and post-bacc, you should look for a new career. The source of this info is primary. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for the info! And I'm guessing this is referring to any type of post-bacc/SMP program-- not just PCOM's?

PCOM also favors PA residents. More than 50% of their incoming class is from PA. In addition, I have seen many PA students with stats inferior than mine receiving interviews (NY resident here). So, you're given a boost if you live in PA.

its always nice to read that all the work im putting in in my DIY postbacc is going to benefit me in the near future! now back to genetics...

GA-PCOM seems to be the same way. The average age of matriculants at both schools is like 26-27, I think, or at least it was at one point. This suggests lots of non-trads who have done a post-bac.

I'd almost think that's true with all schools concerning a post bacc. As for me, the PA resident thing, along with a 3.7 post bacc did nothing for me. First rejection from any school EVER.
