Before you go all avatar mode... here are some suggestions. For math DAT the important thing that you have to understand is
-What is the question asking you... Sometime what happens is the question is very simple but it will ask you to do (1.08)^17 so try learning to guesstimate and guess and skip.
-Understanding formulas. What do I mean by this. when i taught math for couple of high school and college kids... what they do it they tend to just plug and chug until they get a suitable answer or close to any of the answers. What you need to do is break the formulas and understand what each part of the formula does... ex: if they ask you the surface area of a can not including the top and bottom... you need to know how to take the regular formula and split it to see which part of the formula belongs to which part of the cylinder.
-And dont be scared to skip. But the imp. part is GUESTIMATE before you move to next question. some people have a strategy what they do is they keep skipping all the word problems... but dont do that guesstimate then quickly move to next question. b/c when you come to the end of the test with 1 minute to go... its not wise to blindly guess on the questions that you didnt not even read the question for. any ways practice to make your skills faster but good luck.
