Heme Onc

For those of you are heme/onc docs or have already decided to pursue this field, when did you realize that heme onc was for you and what decisions led you to this final conclusion? In other words, what were you looking for in a specialty that attracted you to heme onc, and what did you want to avoid that heme onc appealed to you?
