Is it possible to develop fatty change 30 years after binge drinking a few time a month?

Is it possible to develop fatty change 30 years later due to chronic Hep B or C, even if a person did not have any initial symptoms of an acute hepatitis inf?

How soon does mild fatty change with AST and ALT o4 42 and 44 lead to hepatoma or cirrhosis?

Thanks

The liver is a fascinating and complex organ. The answers to all questions are nearly always either:

1) It depends
2) It's possible
3) Idiopathic

It's best to try to understand what you can and not to try to explain everything. Only then will you truly understand liver disease.
