I took my part 1yest ap17th,and i wanted to help others who is preparing for their exams.
1.dont waste ur time in unrealsed papers.
2.study your theory and try to understand the simple concepts in it.
3.dont expect any direct questions, if u get it u are lucky thats all.
4.practice ur testlets( 1st session i had 160 to200, and 2nd session i had228 to 160) from usmle prep materials.
5.time urself good cos testlets take lot of time so try to manage ur time well.
6.decks didnt help me much,so its upto u what u want study with.
7.i did anat and mp in kaplan review book.
8.bio/phy-usmle,da-decks and refrence from wheelers.
9.i did all question papers from g tok, and all unrealsed also.
10.i took once before in 2007 that was also in new pattern,but its not the same and is has got harder than what it was before.


i dont want to scare anyone, but just sharing my experience about it.everything and anything is possible guys so keep working hard, i am not happy with my performance and going to just wait and see what happens.

1 question: Which one was the toughest.? afterall, some material must have helped. Like DA and MP, were they ok? Anat? What is majorly being asked. I know Biochem and Physio can be tough any day. Please share.
