I told you this site was fun!! I've got less than a week to decide on SC. I'm debating on whether to call UCSF this week, since I figure i won't get a letter from them until the end of this month (after the SC deadline has already elapsed.)

i got a letter from SF last week saying that they'll let us know in mid-march.

Yeah a first year at ucsf told me that we'd hear by the end april 1.

i didn't get into albany.. yet that is. but it's looking grim seeing as how it's already late march. i've only just applied. but from what other people are posting, albany doesn't have interviews, so i'm assuming it's pretty hard getting in. did you apply to albany as well?

I was accepted to the accelerated option. If you look at their website, it'll go over what courses you need to qualify for what type of transfer. I guess this is what you're looking for:
- 3 years in the Army
- Pharmcological Chemistry Degree from UCSD
- Pre-Pharm Society VP at UCSD
- Volunteered at Baton Rouge General Pharmacy
- Did some other volunteer work
- Currently work for the Louisiana Office of Public Health...

But PLEASE , don't go joining the army right now - unless you want to practice a little Baghdad Pharmacy...🙂

To be perfectly honest, it's UCSF. Since I'm waitlisted, it may not be an option... I guess it just depends upon how long I'm willing to wait to see how that goes. We'll see. The accelerated option for Albany starts on May 19th. How nice, because the stats course that I'm currently taking ends on May 17th. 😱

They notified me by mail. It was actually kind of a shock to find out the actual starting date of the program. Their website only mentions that the program starts in the summer. If I decide to go, at least it means that I'll get out of this state ( I'm originally from Sacramento).😀
