how would you rank
1. Schneider children hospital
2. SUNY downstate
3. Westchester medical center, valhalla
4. Maimonides medical center.
I know its difficult to rank programs coz each has its pros and cons but i want to do neonatology fellowship so in terms of that where do u feel i will have max time for research alongwith good clinical exposure.

Wondering why these are the only ones on your list...

And as for ranking them... they are all VERY different in terms of pt population, size, area, etc which can make a HUGE difference in many ways. just my opinion, but I don't think only thinking of which will help you get directly into a NICU fellowship is a good idea (and none will be able to do that for you anyways). Just a little thing to think about.

It weirds me out that they don't list on their website where their residents come from, # of DOs, matching for fellowship, etc.

thanx for the reply .... is there any specific reason for ranking SUNY last as i really liked the program.
also where would you place miami children and children hospital of michigan

It seems like you've answered your own question. The important thing is not the rankings but going to a program that YOU like and that you think fits with your personality. Go to the interviews and decide in the end so you have programs to compare to.
