Huh? Are you talking about hydration of an alkyne??

If it's a terminal alkyne, you'll get a ketone.. If it's an internal alkyne, you're going to have a mixture of ketones.


If you're talking about oxymercuration/demercuration (Hg(OAc)2/H2O, then NaBH4), then it's anti.
