Hi . question about personal statement

hi. one of my friends she is applying for the 2011. she wants to know how many words the personal statement should be ? and is it neccessary to have pcat if she wants to apply only in CA . she has a BS in microbio with a 3.5 gpa.

Your friend should make a list of specific schools in which she's interested and then research answers to her questions based on that list of schools.

The PharmCAS personal statement is...4500 characters with spaces? I think--something like that. I don't remember. The PS for the supplement varies with each school. As of right now, CA pharmacy schools do not require PCAT although some may look at it and some don't even bother.
