hi,what will happen if computer gets frozen in the middle of test?

hi guys,
i took my exam and last 40 min the computer got froze and the felow sitting over there didn,t know what to do.he called up somebody and came to me and asked me if i want to take the whole test again?i didn,t know what to say?finally he didn,t do anything.
now my problem is i don,t no whether my score got reported or not?i don,t want to take it again.
tell me guys what happens now?i called ada but no response i will call them t,mrw again.
did anybody have any same problem?and what happens now? 🙂 🙁

It happened for me when iam taking my part-1 ,prometric centre people took a written complaint from me and they sent it to ada.

The computer crashed during the last 30 mins of my test. I panicked - called the administrator - she tried restarting the computer 2/3 times. 20 mins later she was successful. Thankfully there was no change to the test itself. I had to rush through the final part of the test.
Question is - were you able to complete the test? I was and my scores did not appear affected so I didnt complain.
Do contact them and let them know what happenend. You should get your score in a week- (I got mine anyway)

Hi,
I faced the same probelm & the computer actually froze twice during my test. The prometric person however was really good ... he asked me to sign out while I was waiting & contact ada I think & after about 20 minutes it was restored to where I had stopped.... at this point he asked me to sign in again & continue with my test...During the second half the same thing happened agian.... & again he was able to fix it...
I finished the exam early so it was not a problem.... but yeah I can imagine what u must go thro" when he siad u must retake it.....It is terrible... I think u must send a written complaint with them & not rest until they address your problem...
Also I am amazed how he said u must retake .... according to the prometric rep who was at my test center, once u have finished any part of the test , it is never lost & they are able to retrive it even if the computer freezes...... This is what he told me when we were waiting for things to be fixed.....

Hang in there..... Hopefully things will work out & u won't have to retake...... 👍 👍 👍

When i gave my prt2...morning session, the comp froze when i was midway thru it. I was waiting for 2 and a half hrs to get that damn thing fixed..The admisnitrator asked me whether i want to come another day...i said.'no,i dont mind waitign fer however long..but i need to get it done with tuday itself!!" They worked on it..and tried for a long time..
.but Nothing happend...and nothing got saved ...and ultimately i had to reschedule my test on another date! which was a week later!.

happened to me ...i was taking part 1....test administrator was unable to revive computer and the test time ran out. prometric said that the test is such that when they start it it runs its usual course..i.e the 8hrs(including lunch)...the time runs out and cannot be changed.prometric took a complaint and ada asked me to send` a written one....they offered me to retake only partof the test one subject...but result would be in diff score sheets...so i declined...i was unableto complete my test....didaffect my scores...wellthats my experience...all the best!

Prometric people will send a report to ada(that is what they told me).
