I am Carla, I am from Argentina,.
I am new in the forum so Hello everybody
I am started to study by myself to take the step1, I have all the Kaplan books and the first aid USMLE1, at the beginning I was planning to be in Kaplan institute, I don’t know if it is better, what do you think?
I want to know if some body here takes the Step1 studying alone.
Can anyone give me an opinion, please?

I think it just depends where you're comfortable. I have some classmates who cannot focus on their own and as such, prefer studying at Kaplan with the videos (or in some cases, the instructors)

I also have many classmates who head off to the library to study alone or in groups. It all boils down to personal preference.

I'm also in the same situation you are. I'm from Nigeria, preparing for step 1. I'm studying for it alone because I can't find anyone here to study with. It's not easy going at it alone but it's possible. However, you have to decide what works best for you.

Thank you very much for your answer, yes how you say is a personal preference, for example most of my friends studied by themselves, I want know about Schedules, for example I have the Kaplan books, so witch of the subjects is better for starts?, and if, can I start to try qbanks after finished a subject or is better to try it after finished all the subjects?
Any opinion will be welcome.
