High DAT Low GPA, anyone?

Hi! I'm curious to see if anyone out there has been successful with getting accepted into any dental with a high DAT score (say above 20's or the average), BUT low GPA (say around 3.0 or under)? 😎

I plan on retaking DAT and scoring extra high, since my GPA was messed up during college (2.9 cum) 🙁 , but upward trend each year.

There are a bunch of us at UOP that were in the same boat. I had a 3.2/3.0 cum/sci GPA and a 23/23/19 on the DAT. Even with the low GPA, they let me in on Dec 1 and even threw a little money at me to attend.

Yup, born and raised in the bay area. I don't think it matters so much for UOP though, there are probably at least 50 people from out of state in my class.

well, I hope you're right. I have very similar stats to yours but am out of state. It would be awesome to hear back from UOP about an interview...
