For those interested in travel PT, Anthony Bernard and I created a Facebook group where we post high paying travel therapy job opportunities every week. As a new grad PT with only 6 months experience, I landed a job for $2200/week after tax pay (equivalent to a $185,000 salary). A lot of therapists get low balled by recruiters when they accept paychecks for $1300-1600/week after tax pay. We make sure this doesn’t happen in our group. Our page requires agencies to keep their jobs pay high due to the arrangement we have made with them. Most of our job postings have weekly after tax pay ranging from just under $1800 to mid-$2000’s.
The group also provide tips for negotiating with recruiters and methods to maximize your income.
