When I am filling out my amcas, am I able to include my high school coursework as part of my freshman year of college? I had a disastrous gpa when I took college classes in high school, and now it is showing up as a separate gpa, which some med school deans are mistaking for my freshman year of college.

if you took college classes in high school before your undergrad, then you should define your classification as HS, not FR. however, if they were AP classes that you placed out of, then you have to designate them as FR for freshman year.

if you use the HS designation, then they will be counted in your amcas gpa, but not as part of your undergraduate career. i know, it sucks, but it could be worse.
