So I was thinking, is it possible for me to take online gen chem 1 and 2 over the summer online in preparation for the rigor college will give me? I am aware that dental schools do not want to see that on my record, so I was thinking, could I take the course under my parents name instead? That way, they will not assume that I wanted to "retake a course."
So, would this be wise? Would taking gen chem online give me enough background to be successful in the course when taking it in college?
Btw: I just recently took Honors Chem and Honors Algebra, so I have the necessary pre-reqs to take on this course.

Honestly, you don't need any preparation for general chemistry. If you can take them in college (in person), over the summer, you could do that to knock out some classes before college starts. If you really want to, just self study an AP chem book or find stuff online.
