Quick question. I volunteer to work with disabled children in my hospital. I'm obviously not going to use any real names of patients, but would it still be OK to talk about my interactions with a particular patient in my secondary + interview?

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's fine. As long as you don't identify someone by their actual name, or family name, or hint at who they are...I think it's okay. In fact I did this on the secondary I just submitted, I talked about an experience I had with a patient at a Hospice - and I just referred to him as Mr.W . His last name didn't even begin with a W. I did however mention his age range (I said he was in his 40s) and what disease he had.
