HIPPA deals with indentifiable patient information-from wikipedia... It establishes regulations for the use and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI). PHI is any information about health status, provision of health care, or payment for health care that can be linked to an individual[12]. This is interpreted rather broadly and includes any part of a patients medical record or payment history. As long as you leave out the name and where this took place I think you are ok, unless the situation is so unique that the person is identifiable just by what happened (like if you discuss a case about a person attacked by someone and they chopped their arms off, and there were a bunch of news stories about this arm chopping off psycho and his latest victim 😉 )
