SAN DIEGO
NEED TO BE ABLE TO START IN JULY
REASON FOR HIRING: EXPANSION
Large non-academic organization (think VA, Kaiser, Navy etc) which I will disclose to the interested; 3-year partnership track (not making partner in this group is unheard of)
Salary: Historically first-year associates have been able to make greater than the 90th% nationally for first year associates, with guaranteed salary increases every year therafter; get paid by hour (base salary plus hourly for overtime)
Lifestyle: INCREDIBLE; very, very rarely work weekends/nights if you don't want to; can go hom at 2:45 PM on about half the days if you wish; equitable distribution of shifts
General cases, some CRNA supervision, some doing own cases, OB, small amounts of vascular, thoracic, cranies; no hearts, no transplants
Strongly prefer regional anesthesia skills AND/OR TEE, but will consider generalists
The other gas guys here are one-half right out of training (3-4 out of hah-vud programs, also stanford, UCLA, cornell, etc- translation, your future colleagues are talented and had many good offers) other half 10-20 years experience; if you have a good sense of humor, you will love the social vibe here in this group; prefer to hire new grads because many of us are young, right out of training, and want to hire our peer group, primarily for social reasons
