book for quick review of histo that can make pathology easier.

Histo at our school was not good enough to prepare for pathology.

what histo book did you use? I honestly thought wheater's histology was a great book...it's not a quick review, but flipping around and just reading the intros and looking at images and their descriptions/captions worked great for me to review when i was going into pathology. Also search for the denver dave videos on histology, he has like a ten minute video for the normal histology of each system that were helpful.

I used Basic Histology by Junquiera...one of the best written books out there in terms of text. But Wheaters is really good too (especially the pictures).

Any histology you will need for step 1 will be the few high-yield images you will find in the commercially available, popular qbanks, and first aid/step up/etc. Those sources will be more than sufficient with regards to histology images with relevant pathophysiology testable on step 1.

both wheaters and junquiera are great.

Have you tried using Iowa's online histo/path website. It gives great annotations along with great digital slides!
