What good books have you read on the history of pharmacy? I've searched for some book reviews but want to know what you guys have read and liked. I'm not looking for a textbook, just something informative and interesting.

There is an APhA book out but I'm not sure if it is still in print. Ask Caverject, I think he did a project on the topic at some point. Or, maybe I am just imagining things.

Maybe I'll write one of those in the near future. 😉 I already have a few ideas.

A4MD is putting a pharmacy career guide together and having different people write different chapters. If you are interested, you could check in with her and see if she has an open section that might interest you.

That sounds cool! I'll contact her about it. 🙂

Thanks I'll look into that. Has anyone read Kremers and Urdang's History of Pharmacy? Or how about Drugstore Memories?

More like anecdotal stories from the old West. Someone on this forum posted this up before.
