I thought about getting ahead as well until someoneput it to me this way:

Before you go into the desert, take a long, cold, hard drink of water.

within a few short weeks you'll be excited to end.
QFT ROFL! Everyone comes to dental school bright eyed and bushy tailed... one quarter later, everyone is red eyed and ready to graduate. Take this break and relaxxxxxxxx.

Just Relax. Trust me you wont regret it. If you just cant help it and have to began your studying then I would recommend contacting your upper class and asking them which course was difficult for them to get through and ask for any powerpoints, notes etc that they may want to share with you. That way your studying will be more focused. Gross Anatomy was our first main course and it hit most of us pretty hard. If you dont have much physiology from undergrad, learning cranial nerves would definitely help. They come up in almost every subject.

Damn, that is awesome. Couldn't have said it better myself.

You could always buy your dental decks and start studying for boards. It's never too early...
