It depends upon the specific school you're planning to apply to and their minimum requirements for an interview (pre-req gpa, overall gpa, LOR, EC, etc). Even though you have a low score in physics below a 300, your overall TS score is at least a 300, so SCCO would still consider you a competitive applicant based on their minimum OAT criteria because you scored at least a 300 on both RC and AA...and assuming you have a minimum overall and pre-requisite gpa of 3.0. Again, I would contact the specific schools and ask them about their min requirements to be considered a competitive applicant.

Hey thanks for your input!

I'm from the Midwest so i trying to get into ICO, IU, ect... ICO told me to retake some classes rite now so thats what im doing and I got an email saying that they will review my file at the END OF MARCH!!! (This email was sent to me before I had taken my OAT) Thats why I was soo worried about my scores because by the time March comes around im afraid that I wouldn't be enough of a competitive applicant cuz all the seats will alreay be taken. UMSL told me that I could pretty much determine if I will be able to get into their school or not after getting my OAT results. I am thinking that im not gonna get into UMSL cuz it seems like a pretty low score to me. Am I screwed?? Am I getting worked up for no reason?? AHHHHH!! Anyone else have any info on this that could help me out?? I need some words of wisdom ha, Thanks!

Since ICO accepts a large number of incoming students (class of 163), you still have a chance to get in if you meet their academic standards. I've spoken to some 3rd year students from ICO this past week, and they told me that some students have been admitted as late as April and June. Just follow ICO's recommendation plan of retaking specific classes...you still have time to re-take OATs at the end of Jan if you want to improve your score (since they are going to review your file again in March). As you probably already know, according to ICO's 2008 Class Profile, the avg overall gpa 3.4 and avg TS 340. Good luck.
