    Youngjock,

I am not sure what your message means. Is there more to the letter? I have received cards stating that a school has received my application and will notify me if they choose to interview me. Maybe this is what the letter means. If it does, it is nothing to worry about.

    Best of luck.

I got a similar letter, so I'd also appreciate any info. people have. The letter says specifically that I am on "hold" for an interview.

I got a letter like that from Penn State about 3 weeks ago. The next week I got an interview offer from them - go figure. I'm not sure exactly what the "hold" status meant or why I was only on hold for a week, but I'm not complaining. This whole process seems more and more random every day.
