What the hell is that ?
I got the letter about my status two months ago ; "Your decision have not been maden yet"
I called four times to check my status. But, the answer was always same..."we did not make a decision, still holding..."
Do I have to give up the hope for Marquette? I am sick of this situation...
Is there anyone who got any good or bad news from marquetteafter you received the "holding status" letter?

I have had the same crap happening to me! I called today and they said that I was not part of the second round of acceptences, and that this second round would fill the class. She went on to say that they would start putting applicants on an alternate list in mid-February. I asked what my chances were with that, and she asked, "Have you interviewed yet?" I wanted to say, "Are you stupid? You have my file infront of your face." She went on to say that I probably would be on the list. What good is that if the class is already full.

Anyone heard anything different?

Did Marquette happen to say if they updated AADSAS regarding those second round of acceptances? I feel like are pretty good about doing that. Or, when were the acceptances sent out? I am on HOLD as well.

Having experienced the hold/alternate situation at Marquette twice already, let me wish you all good luck. I found out the hard way that their list doesn't move very fast. I don't think very many applicants turn down their acceptance offers at this great school. I wish the ladies that answer the phone didn't seem so iritated and put out by applicants' status questions. They always made me fell pretty crappy.

Yea, consider reapplying for next year's cycle if you want in at Marquette. I've tried calling them many times and have left messages on different occassions. No luck. Best of luck to you.

Yeah, same thing happened to me, but its no biggie....I got into a great Master's program working with an implant dentist and stem cell therapy and I'm going to reapply after I finish that. I think that it will help me out alot. Good luck to all you guys, don't give up!
