I have a grade from a sub-i in my field of choice which *SHOULD* be arriving any moment now (in reality, who knows). I've been told its an honors grade, and it's from a program with a very good reputation in my field. I already have one honors grade in my field on my transcript.

Should I have my dean's office postpone scanning my transcript until this grade comes in or should I just release my transcript knowing that the grade adn eval will be on my dean's letter? I'm feeling really behind the curve since my letter writers within EM have been slow in getting my letters in.

I wouldn't hold back your transcript waiting for this one grade--especially if you know it will show up later (along with the narrative comments) on your Dean's Letter. Holding back the transcript potentially delays you getting interview offers from programs that want to see your grades before inviting you to interview.

I meant to add, last year I was in a similar situation and held back my transcript waiting for a sub-i eval that was supposed to be stellar. Waited and waited and it never came, eventually I just gave up and released my documents b/c it got to the point where it was holding up my app. Turns out the program admin "misplaced" my completed eval and it didn't show up at my Dean's office until February...
