Hole puching confusion

Ok, why is the answer here C and not E? In C we have to holes puched below the edge, but what confuses me here is that we have two holes here:(
any idea?

When you punched the whole it did make 4 holes. The last fold made it such that 2 holes appeared on the right. The first fold made the left and bottom symmetric to the top and right.

If you picture that hidden lower right corner of the triangle tucked up under there you can see that the hole will punch through it. There are 4 layers of paper that the hole goes through so there are 4 holes.
 
yeah, E does not satisfy the symmetry of the first fold either.

C final answer.
 
try to think of this way...each time you fold draw a line of symmetry and then fold backwards thinking of line of symmetry each time
