Does anyone know of a good source to get help every now and then with Chemistry? My teacher is hard to get and our tutoring center at school has very odd and non-existent hours.

Thanks!
Samantha 😀

www.mathtutordvd.com but you have to pay for the DVD's.

I use these products and I find them to be some of the best aids available for math, chem, and physics. Buy them on eBay because they are cheaper.

He only has chem 1 and 2 not orgo.

or

www.khanacademy.org

This site is free but I wouldn't use it alone. I think the guy talks to fast and he stutters but if you can get around that, he knows his stuff.

I personally couldn't handle khan academy because of the stuttering..it became extremely annoying and distracting...i've recently discovered cramster.com (it's 10 bucks for 4 weeks, there's an annual rate too but i'm not sure what it is) and it solves all the problems in a bunch of different texts with explanations. this is how i'm teaching myself physics.
for chemistry, I searched topics in youtube till i found a professor i liked.
for physics, i highly recommend username vkiledj (if you'll be needing that anytime soon)
good luck! just keep doing problems, it will click 🙂

I agree about "cramster" for help. You can also contact the chem department to see if they have any student tutors (they are much cheaper since they are students looking for extra cash, and it's nice to have a one-on-one homework review, especially if they have had the same professor!).

General Chemistry: Brown, LeMay, Bursten's
Organic Chemistry: John McMurry's
(Solomon's was too dry to me)
