I don't mind the 50 bucks... but I just want to make sure there's nothing wrong with me doing this.

I would like to know this as well. Received a different study, but since I have so much free time this month I don't mind filling out a survey. Is it ok/legit to do this?

Most of these surveys are legitimate. Beware, however, that most of them have a few screening questions at the beginning. If you don't meet their criteria, you won't be allowed to complete the survey and get your $50.

I'll disagree (to some extent), depending on the definition of "legitimate". Let's be 100% clear about what's going on here. This is not a "research" study. They don't likely care much about your opinion. Most likely, they want to market directly to you. This is like those people who call you before an election stating that they are conducting a survey who actually work for a candidate or party. They ask you whom you are likely to vote for. If you tell them what they want to hear, they thank you profusely and hang up. If not, they try to convince you to change your mind with other targeted questions.

I doubt this company wants your opinion about anything. What they want to know is whether you know about whatever product they have been hired to help market, and if not they want to teach you about it and see if they can convince you to prescribe it. Only yuou can decide whether it's "worth it" to do this for $50.
