Hospice work - counts as community service?

I am doing some secondaries that speicfically ask for community service that I have done. I'm wondering if writing about hospice work in these questions is OK? Or does hospice work fall under clinical experience and I need some other examples of community work? Thoughts?

I think it definitely counts if you were doing it as a volunteer.

Depending on what one does as a hospice volunteer, this could fall under both categories, but that doesn't mean you can't use it to answer the question.
