Hospital's attitude towards your ED

For all those practicing out there, what is your opinion of your hospital in regards to how they see the ED?
Take ED into consideration on new initiatives? Staffing? Etc.?

Mine could care less.

Our health system CEO is very supportive. We have push for hospitalists to discharge by 2p, docs to call back quickly, etc. We've had door-to-door/floor metrics before CMS started requiring them and are ahead of the game on them. We're involved in several health system initiatives and committees.
