I have a few interviews lined up in New York City and am trying to find some low cost places to stay. I ran across quite a few Hostels in downtown online.
Has any one ever stayed in one of these? If so, which place do you recommend?

Thanks!

I stayed in one called Jazz on the Town... Really central, fairly clean, quiet, cheap... Obviously, you get what you pay for, but it's definitely not the worst one I've stayed in!

I stayed at Jazz on the Town on 14th and 2nd Ave twice. It was reasonable, clean, and accessible.

When I interviewed at NYU I stayed at the Murray Hill Inn in Manhattan for $89/night. Room and bath were typical new york-sized but were private. Cheapest I found and within walking distance. Good luck!

yeah, when i reserved at a manhattan hotel I asked like 2 or 3 times if bathrooms were private!! Im not into that sharing bathroom thing!!!
