Depends if you work in your own practice, or for a hospital, a clinic etc. What do you want to do?

FP I shadowed had 3 days a week off unless she was on-call Saturday. She started at 8 a.m. seeing patients but is routinely in the office at about 7 a.m. and the end of her day varies from 5-7 p.m. depending on paperwork. She was varied in that she practices OMM and performs office surgeries. That being said, she probably spent 40-50 hours in the office a week. Her practice is part of a health network falling under a local hospital.
