I made a small error when adding up my hours for my EMT experience. I decided last minute to combine two of my EMT jobs into one activity but did not add up the hours. So now I'm sitting at 200 total hours for all my EMT experience when it is actually around 500. Should I email ADCOMS about this or let it be? I have other clinical experience that I have significantly more hours in, but a large part of my application is highlighting my clinical experience, specifically that in emergency medicine.

You short changed yourself listing only 40% of the completed hours. Don't contact adcoms now. If you are still working as an EMT, save this for an update in late September/early October noting that you have completed N hours and are now more interested than ever in opportunities presented by a career in emergency medicine.

I work as a Medical Assistant now because the lifestyle is more suitable, but I know it isn't the end of the world to not have as many hours, I can still speak on the experiences well.

You could write, "after accumulating a total of 500 hours as an EMT, I pivoted to the role of Medical Assistant to provide me with a perspective that includes a more longitudinal perspective on patient care. Most recently, I ....." That way you sneak in the increased number of hours and provide an update on your employment status including, perhaps, something interesting that you observed or participated in during the month of September.

Would this still be okay even if I included my MA job on my application already? For context, I am currently taking a gap year.

Unless you have a real up-date, you can always noting something that new happened quite recently such as a patient who developed anaphylaxis in the office after an injection, or witnessing the delivery of bad news, etc. that you had not experienced during your 500 hours as an EMT, etc.
