My family:
1 mom. 1 dad. 1 younger sibling still in undergrad. Me (not considerd a dependent).
On the FAFSA, they ask for my parents' "household size". I originally assumed my parents' household size would be 3 (mom, dad, sibling), but then clicking on the household size worksheet - it indicates that the "student" applying for aid (me) should be included, making the household size 4. Are they assuming the student applying for aid is an undergrad and thus dependent? Should I put down 3 or 4?
Then it asks how many in the household will be attending college in 2005-2006. Does this mean "2" (me AND my sibling), or just "1" (my sibling, since I'm an independent)?
Anyone have any ideas?
