I came by this website that showed the average GPAs and MCAT scores for each med school. They are the 2008 averages, so I was wondering if they look accurate or not. Here's the website-http://www.startmedicine.com/app/medstatistics.asp?iMD=Y&iSO=MC&iST=&iCO=&cSU=++Refresh+School+Info++

If its from 2008, its going to be several years behind even if it was accurate then. I did take a look at it, and the data is below what is expected from most of these schools for the 2011 applicant pool. Get the MSAR it is by definition the most accurate (although it says accepted student data not matriculated student data which is kinda annoying)

At the risk of sounding like a *******, what is the difference? :luck:

Accepted students stats are the stats for all the students accepted i.e. students who matriculated and students who were accepted but decided to go elsewhere

Matriculant students stats are the stats for only the students who matriculated.

The stats for matriculants are lower than the stats for accepted students
