Hello, I was obsessing over my AADSAS sGPA error and then I accidentally ran into this file. I just thought this was interesting and thought a few of you may find it interesting as well. Starting at Page 6, it gives us an idea of how admissions committees literally view our applications and how they can search it up. So, once your AADSAS gets updated for any reason, the school can view it immediately.

Kinda makes the whole idea of AADSAS having to physically mail apps out ridiculous 🙁

I don't think they do. 'Mail Date' is a legacy term. Besides this online portal, there is another program that schools can use where they actually download a batch of applications (packaged up into an Access db file). Those batches are what AADSAS prepares each week for download rather than actually printing it all off and mailing them to schools. I don't know that all schools choose to use it, but it allows a school to be 100% paperless if they choose. There's an employee training PowerPoint floating around somewhere for Kentucky that shows how they handle applications as they went paperless. ADEA also has the complete manual somewhere that shows all the features of the program. I used to know where and I may have posted it once. But I'm feeling too lazy to look and it's probably not that interesting for anyone.

Awesome, thanks for the info! A legacy term would make a lot more sense and being 100% electronic in this day and age would too.
