I just want to know how I'm doing on the QR compared to people who experienced with the Math Destroyer. I've gone through all the 12 tests for the first time and here are my scores:

1)24/40
2)25/40
3)32/40
4)25/40
5)34/40
6)32/40
7)34/40
8)28/40
9)30/40
10)27/40
11)30/40
12)19/40

My DAT is August 11 by the way

I know your not timing yourself...

The best ive done is a 27/40. mind you on a practice exam i have never seen before. for the first time. under alot of stress and time restrains.

OP, are those scores for timed test (45 mins) or did you just take as long as you needed to finish?

No those are not timed. I took twice the amount of time

Thats what i thought.. i could easily get a 35 on all the practice exams if i had enough time too.

Out of curiousity, how does the 2006 OAT QR compare to the actual dat?

If they are similar, crack dat math is much more helpful then math destroyer. I could only feel like **** going through destroyer.

I would not focus on how well you did without timing yourself. I make mistakes too even when I don't time myself. But you need to get timing down. Practice making judgement calls... saving the one or two hardest for the end.... That is if you are getting close to D-day.

Just fyi, my test 11 was similar to yours with no timing and then this morning I did test 3 again (Last time I did it was 3.5 weeks ago) and in 45 mins got 35/40. So yes, test 11 is harder and you might not do as badly as you'd think if you timed yourself.

try to do them timed now! i used to get almost 30 untimed, now that im timing myself I go from anywhere like 23/40 to 27/40. when you time it its a totally different ball game and you just run against the clock.

Yeah that's very true that's exactly what I'm about to do.

its funny how i used to get problems wrong, then i learned from them and now im getting the other problems wrong that I could get right if I have more time lol so i guess you have to pick your battles. watch out for destroyers long geometry or simplification problems, some of those arent worth the effort. too many steps and high risk of getting the problem wrong and wasting precious time.

Gotcha! Thanks and will do 🙂

Hey i just took the first DAT MATH DESTROYER test for 2014 under timed conditions and got a 22/40. How did the DAT math rollout for you? SHould I be worried?

If it's your first attempt, no. That's quite good. However, if it's your first time going through them, do tests 1-10 not being timed. If you have no clue within the first 15 seconds, mark it down and move on to the next problem. When you finish, grade them and review. Spend as much time as you can until you fully understand them. I'm averaging about 28-32 timed with my second run. I can do most of the problems when i'm not timed, about 90%, but that stress factor lowers your score.

Reading this makes me feel good. I've gotten 34+ on almost all of them timed minus the first one (doing test 7 tomorrow). Guess I don't need to worry about QR too much.

Thanks. I know the areas I am week in: Trig and a few minor concepts. DId you just review the answers or are there better resources to learn this stuff online?
My test is August 8.

I just took my DAT and scored a 19 on QR. I think my problem was that I stopped doing destroyer two weeks before the test. However, there were SEVERAL problems straight from destroyer which made me feel relaxed during the QR. The problems I had issues with were ones I didn't see in bootcamp, crack the dat, or destroyer. I only had one trig question so don't worry to much about it. I first went through the exam without timing myself. If I had doubts or still didn't understand how the solution was solved, I went on youtube to see how to solve those types of problems. The second time I timed myself and repeated the process. I was getting about 10 wrong with each test (about a 20 on the exam). Just keep at it. My biggest regret was that I should have set time to do at least 15 problems a day just to keep my skills sharp. Overall, I think the book is worth the price and time
